Here you'll find fonts for download, and they're all free. I've been making them in my spare time ever
since I downloaded the whimsically-titled Font Creator Program from
High-Logic.com. I've been hand-lettering fonts on paper since I was
about eight years old, and now look where I am. Totally addicted, that's where. I couldn't stop if I tried.
So if I have to suffer from this affliction, I might as well share it with the world. Just think of me as
your font pusher. Always remember, the first one is free. And the next one, and the next one....
Thanks to RM for converting most of the fonts to Mac formats. He also converted the Unicode fonts I've made. Trouble is, he's not sure what the results actually are, and I'm Mac-deprived, so I personally have no way of finding out. If you can help me figure out what to call them, please do. They're right here.
To my great astonishment, I was named Font Designer of the Month for February at Dennis Hill's Fontplay page.
As of August 30, 2002, all fonts on my site are licensed under the Design Science License, which means that the fonts are still free, freely distributable, and you can modify them, but if you distribute either my fonts or your modified fonts you also have to provide access to my freeware fonts, and your new fonts can be modified the same way. For more detail, look here.
On August 10, my website was ready to move to its new digs away from the evil that is Tripod, and to celebrate, two new fonts are added: There's now a bold version of Enigmatic 2, and an entirely new font family, Brasspounder and Brasspounder Small Caps. On February 1, 2004, GangueOuais comes up the gangueplanque. As of December 13, all three Unicode fonts have been updated: Hindsight, Torquemada Starved and a greatly revised version of Enigmatic.
|And finally, you can grab everything on the site in one swell foop, with the Panther Memorial .zip file.|
