Make your way to the entrance of the Great Pyramid. Descend 350 feet down a shaft to the Creation Room located at the geographical centre of the earth. Hours of operation are 6:00 am to 9:00 pm. You have $65 for this leg of the race.

  's 7-hour lead is reduced to a 40-minute lead due to the pyramid's hours of operation.

According to Egyptian myth, this chamber is the centre of creation. Make your way to the Mound of Creation, the Karnak Temple in Luxor, Egypt. Use the old (domestic) airport to fly to Luxor. You may use any commerical flight, and in addition, there is a charter flight to Luxor at 11:30 am.
  try to take Colin & Christie's cab before they've removed their bags or paid for it. They call Colin & Christie maniacs.
  only just make it to the (delayed) charter flight after their cabbie takes them to the international airport rather than the domestic airport.

HERD IT
Travel 5 miles by kalesh to Banana Island. Load 10 sheep and goats onto a felucca (sailboat) and sail across the Nile. Deliver the animals on the other side to get your next clue.

  
 
HAUL IT
Travel 3 miles by kalesh to Pigeonhouse Farm. Draw water from the Nile into an urn, and transport the water by donkey via an unpaved road. Fill one of the large containers you find there past the line to get your clue.

 
Take a marked taxi to Habu Temple. Your clue can be found in the main colonade.
25° 38' N 32° 35' E

This task requires keen eyes and a lot of patience.

Dig in the sand with the tools provided to find a scarab carving in one of the large roped-off sections.
  arrive at the Roadblock after all other teams have departed, and declare themselves too injured to continue the race. For the first time ever, host Phil Keoghan has to come out to the course.
Make your way to the West Nile Ferry dock and cross to your next pit stop.
