Two sisters from a large family, with Mary being a middle sister, and we'd guess the family jock, and Peach being the youngest, and we'd guess the family princess. |
Peach seemed to be accustomed to being pampered, having her hair done and shopping. And yet, here she was on the race. Unlike future teams featuring girly-girls, Peach at least seemed to have her eyes open and knew something of what she was in for. She knew it wouldn't be pleasant. She knew she wouldn't like it sometimes, but she swore she was going to compete. And Mary would be there to kick her butt and make sure she did it. |
Peach endured long train rides, bad parts of town, lack of sleep, physical tasks, but what finally put an end to her adventurousness was a bitter cup of tea that hit her stomach the wrong way. They were already behind by that point (that day they'd lost their maps, asked to go to the wrong building by cab, and tried to get a Fast Forward that had already been claimed), and they decided to deviate from the race course a bit to regroup, "making their own Pit Stop," as Peach put it. |
Getting told that if they go to Langa Township, they'll die. By everyone they met. Bickering in the cab over how much to spend on a pair of pants, then figuring out how to pole their raft correctly to put themselves first and actually winning a leg, something we never thought would happen. |
While their story seems to have been played out, it'd be interesting to see if Peach's life changes stuck. |
